Our Story
Fempreneur Chronicles was born from a simple truth: the entrepreneurial journey can be exhilarating, but it can also be isolating. That’s why we set out to build not just a blog, but a gathering place — a place for women+ founders and dreamers to find real stories, honest lessons, and practical tools to help them thrive.
We’re Jas Darland and Nuria McGrath, two friends and co-founders whose paths first crossed early in our careers. Back then, we were colleagues navigating the fast pace and sharp learning curves of professional life. Years later, we reconnected over a shared passion: creating spaces where women can share wisdom, lift each other up, and celebrate success on their own terms.
Between us, we bring decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, strategy consulting, fundraising, storytelling, and creative ventures. But more importantly, we bring our deep belief in community over competition. We know the power of honest conversations, actionable insights, and celebrating the real, messy, beautiful process of building something that matters.
Through Fempreneur Chronicles, we profile inspiring women+ entrepreneurs from all backgrounds and stages of business. We ask the tough (and joyful!) questions: What worked? What didn’t? How did you push through the moments of doubt? What advice do you have for those just getting started?
